A word from our guests…

My favourite networking event of the year is the Travel Media Awards. It’s the one event of the year where leading editors of nearly all national media and trade titles and some of the most high profile digital influencers, photographers and broadcasters come together. It’s a celebration of travel media talent with everyone in one room — fantastic networking and great fun too!

Rachel O’Reilly, Head of Communications, Kuoni

The Travel Media Awards is one of the events in the calendar that I look forward to the most. It is one of the most well attended travel functions of the year and not only allows me to catch up with industry colleagues but it’s also a great opportunity to make new contacts with a prestigious list of top tier attendees. Plus, it’s always nice to raise a glass or two to celebrate writer’s achievements in good company.

Natalie Eales, Head of PR, UK & Europe, Sandals

In sparkling surrounds, we all wait with bated breath to find out the winners of Travel Media Awards, which have come to represent a real benchmark of performance in the industry. The awards’ night represents all that we have missed over the last year or so: catching up with colleagues in person, chinking glasses, toasting friends, celebrating as a throng.

Michelle Jana Chan, Travel Editor, Vanity Fair

"Travel Media Awards is the one of the best events of the year for travel media networking and for recognising industry talent. The room is full of travel editors, staff writers, quality freelancers, broadcasters, bloggers and fellow PRs, and the mood is convivial and celebratory. I like the drinks and canapes format as it makes it easy to get around the room saying hello to old friends and meeting new people. It's the one event of the year I don't like to miss."
